The Ocean Movement is a charitable organization and only exists with the help of numerous volunteers who share our mission. You too can support us, either by joining us on one of our expeditions, by working with us or with a donation.

Since our foundation The Ocean Movement is recognized by the Dutch Tax Office as a Public Benefit Organization of Charitable Organization (Dutch: ANBI). This means you can deduct your donations to The Ocean Movement in the income tax return if you meet the conditions of the tax authorities.

With your donation you help us:

Organize a variety of events to increase the number of movement makers for cleaner oceans (expeditions, lectures, symposia, other events)

Contribute to important worldwide research into (marine) plastic pollution

Spread awareness about (marine) plastic pollution globally

Change public opinion

The more people are informed and demand change, the sooner government and industry will have to follow suit

Prevent plastics from ending up in our oceans, animals and ourselves

Participate in events like for example the World Ocean Summit and different relevant fairs

By supporting us you just simply help us to be able to keep on doing what we have been doing voluntarily since the beginning of 2016.
