Giulia Leone

When I was younger, I met a marine biologist working on sea turtle conservation and learned about the impact of plastic pollution on our environment. This inspired me, and my journey took me from Italy to the Netherlands for my Master’s and later to Belgium for my PhD.

Now, back in the Netherlands, I’m very happy to have joined The Ocean Movement where I can share what I’ve learned and contribute to raising awareness about plastic pollution.
