“Even as a young child, I showed a huge passion for the natural environment and its history. I was subscribed to wildlife magazines, often frequented Naturalis Biodiversity Center in Leiden and even became a US Junior Park Ranger when I got the chance. It makes a lot of sense to me now why I have such an activistic streak: I simply love our beautiful, blue planet and want to do everything in my power to protect it and preserve it for the future. That is why I am super excited to double down on this personal mission by joining The Ocean Movement.”
